I’ve been delaying this for a couple of weeks. Sorry about that. I was planning to release Omakase Guardian after I realized Gundam Songs 145, but I ended up waiting to see if I could get a seedbox to seed the Gundam album, since it’s huge ;_;
Gundam Songs 145 won’t have any torrents yet. I’m still waiting to hear back regarding that seedbox. If I can’t get it, then i’ll put out torrents for them.

If you haven’t seen Eve no Jikan, you won’t understand this. If you have seen it, you will. And this will probably help with a lot of confusion that the show leaves in the minds of a lot of people. Then again, it’ll also add to the confusion. This discovery of mine compelled me to think new things about the show and the things it’s explored. Also: second season plzkthx.
I’m sure you’ve all seen this screenshot. This is from the last episode of the OVA series, featuring the unedited article of the original Tokisaka Incident. I originally thought that the name, Tokisaka Incident, was derived from the fact that the incident occurred a place called Tokisaka. While I was checking through signs to be typesetted for the EnJ movie, I noticed the article once again. This time, I paid more attention to it. On a random urge, I visited the Eve no Jikan website (http://timeofeve.com/) and checked the Character page. The character page lists whether characters are humans or robots and I thought it was odd how Akiko was listed as unknown, so I did a bit of checking.
Upon comparing the photo of the girl in the article with Akiko’s photo on the website, I realized that Akiko is the said girl. The kanji caption underneath the image is blurred (by the creators) so I couldn’t really tell when I first saw it, but after looking at it very closely, I figured it that this is what it says:
常坂アキコちゃん
Translated, that reads: Tokisaka Akiko-chan. In other words, the 5 year old girl that was injured was Tokisaka Akiko. The incident was actually named after the person involved, not the place.
Yeah, just wanted to share.
Lets see… I’ll begin with Chaos Fansubs.
I’m pretty sure that people already know of the two active projects at the moment (if you don’t, check the Chaos Fansubs tab at the top there). Well, Pokemon hasn’t progressed much. We have some better raws now, but I’m not feeling very motivated to TL it. If there’s a Pokemon fanatic somewhere out there reading this and wants to translate it, please join us! We will do everything else, including the checking and editing of your translations!
The other project is Zettai Karen Children DVDs, a joint with II-Subs. Episode one is pretty much done, but now II-Subs have jumped ship due to personal issues amongst their staff. But that’s fine. Since my group doesn’t really have an encoder, they’re providing the raws they’ve already encoded for us to use. Aside from that, I think we’ve got everything else.
And one final thing to add is the pickup of a brand new project! We are now doing the Time of Eden Movie (Gekijouban Eve no Jikan). This project will be another joint, this time with the group that brought you the best Blu-ray version of Clannad: Mastodon Infantry Internationale! We also have a fellow BakaBT staff member, kureshii, joining us on this project to help with editing, styling and typesetting!

I’ve been delaying and procrastinating on this despite having most of it done like a year ago. This is actually the longest chapter in the entire book. It contains one page from each artist involved. The other chapters are like 3 or 4 pages from one artist. But since there are like 18 artists, there are 18 pages in this chapter as opposed to 3 to 4. And plus, this is all in color, making it difficult to clean and rebuild.
Honestly, I had no idea this even existed. Apparently, Online University has started dishing out awards to people, and I managed to win their Top 40 Anime Blogs award :D

Although it’s from a leaked source, my crap internet here in China has prevented me from releasing it any earlier. Apologies for that.I have other Angel Beats albums I want to release, but those, like the K-ON!! OST, will have to wait. Same for that 10GB album I mentioned before.
