Ani-wave Scans

Returning home yesterday, I picked up a copy of Ani-wave today, and in it are some very interesting pieces of information which I have carefully summarized in these 5 bullet points:

  • New Mecha from the Gundam 00 Movie is known as the GN-0000Q, or Gundam 00 QUANTA. Sounds interesting.
  • Yuki looks cute
  • Angel Beats just got a lot more interesting. Girl with gun? Hell yeah!
  • Yuki is cute again
  • I need to pick up Sora no Otoshimono too.

Halo Reach Updates!

We’re literally just a few months away from the much anticipated Halo: Reach game from Bungie. It’s the final Halo game Bungie is making (for now), so I’m pretty hyped up for it. Bungie revealed quite a bit of information at X10. Here’s a link to their announcement: Click.

One of the images they posted looks oddly like the size of that of an Xbox game (see above). Could this potentially be the art that goes on the box? Well, enough speculations. I’m just gonna go drool over the screenshots before I depart for Switzerland.

Gundam 00 Movie slated for September!

September Release Confirmed!

The March issue of the gamer magazine NewType has announced that the slated release date for the previously announced Gundam 00 Movie is September this year!

Unfortunately, no other information is provided, but if you can remember, it’ll hopefully reveal some facts about Jupiter.

My Speculation: Something to do with the making of the TD Blankets (Google this if you don’t know what it is) which require Jupiter’s high pressure.

Gundam UC to premier in HK!

Is Hong Kong just awesome or what? Two live concerts (see previous two posts: May’n and Kalafina) and now a Gundam premier?! In a way, I really love living in HK, but I kinda hate it too. All these events happening in my face and yet I can’t attend the majority of them. I’m hoping I can get tickets to Kalafina (not too interested in May’n), but this is definitely no go for me. Exams begin on Wednesday next week lasting for just over a week (until Thursday the week after), meaning the premier is almost smack-bang in the middle of my exams. I think catching some Gundam in between exams is a bad idea.

Kalafina LIVE TOUR 2010 in Asia

Yay for multiple blog posts in one day~ Like the other one, this is a news-ish post. And like the previous one, this is a concert news post.

According to Kalafina‘s official website, they are embarking on an Asia Tour. Sure is the latest trend, huh (Shimokawa Mikuni, Chihara Minori, May’n, etc.)…

Mayʼn BIG☆WAAAAAVE!! Asia Tour 2010!

Recently brought to my attention is May’n's latest concert, known officially as the Mayʼn BIG☆WAAAAAVE!! Asia Tour 2010. Already, a website has been put up (you can find it here: http://www.mayn.asia/) and dates and locations have been decided. They are as follows:

  • Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) – 07 March 2010
  • Hong Kong (Hong Kong) – 19 March 2010
  • Taipei (Tai Wan) – 21 March 2010
  • Obviously, I’m now debating whether I should go. I haven’t seen anything about price or exact performance location yet, so I can’t decide (or order tickets, for that matter), but hey, it’s worth thinking about.

    Angel Beats, EotE, Disappearance

I think all this info has been published elsewhere (online, Japanese magazines), but I finally bought a copy of Issue 201 of Ani-Wave, the local anime magazine, and I was greeted with some awesome pictures of Angel Beats, Eden of the East and the Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi. Some of these scans have grey sections, that’s because I rotated the images in Photoshop due to my crap scanning skills.

    Possible Negima movie?

In one of Akamatsu Ken’s (Creator of Love Hina, Mahou Sensei Negima, Itsudatte! My Santa) recent web diary entries, he has dropped various hints as to a new “Negima-related project”. Coupled with the number of preorders for the OADs, it is speculated that a theatrical version of Negima, perhaps following on the ALA ALBA ~Shiroki Tsubasa~ (Translates to “White Wings”) and Mou Hitotsu no Sekai (Translates to “The Other World”) path, will be produced.

Previously, Akamatsu hinted that if orders were high enough, the last part of the Mou Hitotsu no Sekai story would be produced as a film. Perhaps this is that film?
